VAHNA Film Festival (Sponsored by Triumph Motorcycles)
Awards:
2024 Telly Awards | Peoples Telly
Production Notes:
Triumph was filmed over the course of two days in the Pacific Northwest, capturing both the interviews and the raw beauty of the area—one that both riders have a deep history with.
With a small but dedicated crew, the production focused on keeping the storytelling authentic and unscripted, allowing Paul and Jaden’s personal reflections to shape the narrative. The result is a film that not only celebrates motorcycle culture but also tells a deeply personal story of perseverance and passion.
Project Overview:
Created for the VAHNA Film Festival, a celebration of motorcycle culture and storytelling, Triumph is a short film that explores the power of mentorship, resilience, and pushing past perceived limits. The film follows Paul Neff and Jaden Dahners, two riders connected by a shared passion for the sport and the pursuit of something greater than themselves.
More than a film about dirt biking, Triumph dives into their journey as athletes who have represented Team USA in races around the world. They discuss breaking barriers, overcoming self-doubt, and discovering the strength to achieve what once seemed impossible. Through deeply personal reflections, the film highlights the mental and physical challenges of endurance racing—whether competing in the International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) or taking on the legendary Dakar Rally.
At its core, Triumph is about more than dirt biking. It’s about the moments in between—the camaraderie, the lessons learned on the trail, and the realization that success isn’t always about winning.
